This Oneida Carlton silverplate flatware serving piece was used in a Masonic temple. The handle has an engraved cross and shepherd's crook symbol representing the order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. I believe it's a jelly, appetizer, or hors d'oeuvre server, measuring 6-1/8 inches long with a pierced blade. The pattern is Fantasy, first produced in 1941. The Carlton Silver Plate mark references the hotel and institutional division at Oneida.

Two identical servers are available, both in excellent, shiny condition with no plate loss and little if any storage or use marks. The pictures show a shadow near the handle tips, just a reflection of something in the room when the photos were taken.
