This small wood jewelry (or contraband) Pirate style chest is from the 1970s. It's made in the Spanish Mediterranean style - dark, roughly finished wood with lots of metal trim and a red velour interior lining. It measures 5-1/2" long by 4-3/4" deep and is just under 4-1/2" high. There are a few small nicks or scuffs which blend in well with the purposeful rustic construction.
