This brown vinyl leatherette covered container was a Mid Century stationery box, now empty. It measures 8 by 11 by 1-3/4 inches deep. The front is decorated with an old fashioned quill pen inkstand with scrolls and flowers embossed in high relief. The box is intact with no splits or tears though there is some minor bump wear to the lid corners. The underside of the box bottom has various scribbled notes and addresses from the previous owner, all without zip codes. An attractive way to store old letters and keepsakes.
