This antique nineteenth century silverplated jam spoon was made by Atkin Brothers of Sheffield, England. It's 6-1/4 inches long with an engraved feather type design on the blade and an ornate swirls, circles, and oval decoration on the handle. The handle back is marked with HA, EA and FA, the initials of the three brothers. It should also have an EPNS stamp but maybe there wasn't room. There is plate loss and wear consistent with 150 or so years of use, mostly on the back of the blade.
