This is a customized 56 piece set of 1847 Rogers Bros. Heritage silver plated flatware (service for eight), complete with blond wood chest. In addition to the eight 5-piece place settings, there are eight additional teaspoons, six serving pieces, and matching baby spoon and fork. Heritage was produced for 20 years beginning in 1953 and the pretty pattern was quite popular. The set includes:
The set was likely used regularly but not heavily. There are use and storage marks. Many of the teaspoons have the faint beginnings of plate loss on the heels only. Some of the utensils and dinner fork tines have short, shallow scratches, nothing that goes through the plating. Aside from a tear to the foil jeweler's label at the top of the lid, the flatware box is in very good condition.
