Four different crochet pattern instruction books from 1950 to 1956. For some reason the most unattractive designs are shown on the covers of most of the books, but there are some very nice patterns in all of them. One book has damage noted below, the others are all in very good vintage condition.
Star Book 98, Suggestions for Fairs and Bazaars, 1953. Patterns for pillowcase edgings, chair back set, a tablecloth, doilies, hot plate covers, pincushions, pot holders, a lampshade cover, and more.
Coats & Clark's Hostess Book, 1956. Ten designs for coordinating crochet-trimmed table linens and aprons. The book has a tear in the bottom center going about 1/4 the way up.
Television and Radio Scarfs, American Thread Star Book 78, 1950. Fourteen designs for joined blocks and motifs, suitable for bedspreads, tablecloths, and other crocheted household linens as well as scarves and runners.
Smart Chair Sets, Coats & Clark's Book 309, 1954. Twelve chair back and arm piece set designs in filet crochet, pineapple and other patterns. Of course they can be easily adapted to other types of linens.
