This classic model RO-91 Westinghouse roasting oven was produced from 1949 to 1953. It measures 2 feet wide handle to handle by about 9 inches high, not including the height of the lid. It comes with a removable gray porcelain enamel liner pan which is 17" by 11-1/2" by 5-1/2 inches deep (interior measurements), as well as a roasting rack. Both side handles have built in lid holder knobs, solving the problem of what to do with the lid while basting. Note the tempered glass window at the top of the lid and the wonderful lighted red "Rudolph nose" glass temperature dial. Below the dial is a pull-out tray with a printed cooking time chart for almost any type of food you can think to cook in the oven - even cakes and cookies.
The roaster heats up fine. The temperature dial lights up bright red. The oven is super clean with only a few minor rub marks to the white enamel exterior, mostly at the back. The side handles have some paint wear and the gray liner pan has no chips but could use a little cleaning to remove the light staining from use. The aluminum lid has a few small bumps and dings. The original power cord has no splits, brittleness, or damage but the Bakelite plug is wrapped in black electrical tape. I didn't want to remove it but the most common reason for the tape is that one or both of the screws holding the two plug sides together is missing. The plug still works fine though (replacements are widely available online). These ovens were outrageously expensive in their day but they were built to last. See my other listings for the cabinet stand and the griddle accessory (shown in the last photo) for this roaster model.
