A large and sturdy vintage porcelain enamel over steel oval wash tub or baby bathtub in white graniteware with black trim. It measures 22 by 17-3/4 inches and is a little over 6 inches deep. It's clean with no major damage, though there are some chips as shown at the rim and one small chip along the lower interior edge of the tub. One side of the rim has a hanging hole to keep the tub out of the way when not in use. The bottom has some authentic rub wear from use and two enamel chips along the edge. A previous owner applied padded felt discs to the bottom to protect the wall or tabletop surface on which the tub was displayed. I believe the tub was made in Ohio by the Bellaire Enamel Company in the 1930s.
