A boxed set of Modern Wonder educational elementary school classroom books from the 1930, labeled Individual Library No. 2. They were published by American Education Press of Columbus Ohio. The company also produced the nationwide school newspaper, Weekly Reader.
Twenty four softcover illustrated and photographed books are present of the original 25 listed inside the lid of the hinged metal storage box. Missing are Clothes, and Sun, Moon, And Stars - one has been replaced by a book from a different series titled Corn. All have copyright dates between 1934 and 1939, a few have revised print dates of 1938 to 1940.
The books are in excellent condition for their age - almost all are very clean with no tears, stains, or damage. Two books have short tears on the back covers, Pueblo Indians and Tales of Fun. Eskimos is the only book that has any writing - a name on the front cover. Below is the complete title list.
