This coffee serving set in solid copper with brass trim likely dates to the Mid 20th Century. It was made in Mexico in the mission style. Included are a 14-1/2 inch oval tray, 9 inch hinged lid coffee pot with wooden side handle, cream pitcher, and double handle sugar bowl with lid.
It appears someone tried to clean or polish the tray, then thought better of doing the other pieces. There are a few small bumps or dings to the coffee pot and the edge of the sugar bowl lid. The tray has surface scuffing and shallow scratches from contact with the other pieces.
Although all four items have the same warty brass band decoration and are obviously a matched set, there are three different marks on the bottoms. The creamer and sugar have the Mexico H mark with an unreadable name below. The tray has the same indecipherable name with a laying down letter P (or possibly a horn symbol) below the word Mexico. The coffee pot has the same name with a zero or letter O and Cobre (Copper) Mexico. Despite the signs of use and wear, the set will display nicely once cleaned up a bit.
