A big, ripe, red apple hand painted ceramic cookie jar, 8 inches diameter by 9 inches high to the tops of the raised green leaves. It's in excellent condition with no chips, flakes, or damage. An incised mark on the bottom reads "Sakura Sonoma China", and there's a paper label as well. Sonoma was a dinnerware and kitchen accessories pattern by Sakura featuring various ripe fruits, produced between 2001 and 2005.
