This Mid Century Revere Ware copper clad stainless steel covered pot is a 6 quart Dutch oven - the high domed lid distinguishes it from a stock pot, along with the wide, flatter handles. It measures 10-3/4 inches diameter not including the handles by 4-3/4" deep. The heavy pot is clean and shiny. It's had a lot of use over the years and has some shallow pit marks and scratches in the interior bottom. The exterior of the pot and lid have some storage marks but no dents or dings.
The Dutch oven was made in the USA in Revere's Riverside California plant and marked with the Process Patent hallmark which indicates the original, thick copper bottom and heavier weight cookware. The Riverside Cal. designation was in use from 1949 until 1962.
