This bronze door knob set was made by Yale & Towne of New York in the early 1900s. The 2-1/4 inch solid, heavy knobs have a subtle flower design. The original ornate feather-fan and scroll backplates are just under 8 inches long by 2-1/4" wide. One of the knobs has remnants of paint and more age wear than the other. One of the back plates is completely painted over, the other has partial paint.
