A large size Mid Century shoe box filled with vintage J&P Coats embroidery floss, a little over 100 full skeins, plus quite a few partials from an Idaho estate. The prices on the labels are 5 and 8 cents each. In addition to the floss, the box contents include a brass thimble, needle threaders, a few needles, more floss wrapped on cardboard, and three different paper embroidery lesson charts. Not including the carded floss and the obvious partial skeins, here are the skein counts divided by color family:
Blues (lights and darks) 23
Yellows, golds, oranges 21
Greens, turquoise, aqua 17
Pinks, salmons 16
Purples, lavenders, maroon, red 15
Neutrals: black, brown, beige, white 11
The floss is clean with no odors.
