This 29 inch Sweet Rosemary doll was made by Deluxe Premium Corp. in Newark, New Jersey around 1957 (the company name was changed to Deluxe Reading a few years later). She was marketed as being 30 inches, but that may have included high heel shoes, which are missing. Her soft body and skin are foam covered vinyl.

Rosemary wears a long pink evening gown with cotton panties and ruffled lace shrug-collar, gloves, and overskirt. Her pink velvet cummerbund is present, as are her pearl drop earrings. The clothing has not been cleaned but has no tears or stains and all snaps are intact. Her light brown short saran hair is in good condition (though slightly sleep flattened at the back), and her blue sleep eyes work properly with no issues. The back of the neck is marked 31 A-E with an arrow in diamond logo. Her body is marked with the letter D at the lower back. There are some storage marks as shown to her body, and a couple of pinpoint freckle-like specks to her face. I wiped her down with a damp cloth but didn't attempt any real cleaning to the doll.
