This Santa Visits Mother Goose pop out style children's Christmas story and activity book was published in 1953 by White Plains Greeting Card Corp. It's spiral ring bound with 26 pages and comes in its original box. Almost every page opens up to a dimensional pop-up die cut illustration, a toy or object specific to the story, or other interactive feature.
All of the pop-outs are intact and working. Original objects included are a plastic spoon who ran away with the dish, a Three Little Pigs squeaker toy, Little Boy Blue's toy horn, a toy parachute (reverse side serves as Mother Hubbard's apron) and fish on string for the three men in a tub, and an illustrated fold-out booklet of Mother Goose nursery rhymes. There are two missing objects: a band-aid for pop-up Humpty Dumpty's head, and a sealed bag of cinnamon candy hearts for the Queen of Hearts.
The book has a gift inscription as shown in the second photo. There are two graphics scuffs where the bandaid and candy were removed but no tears, stains, or writing. The box bottom has a corner split, otherwise the box is intact.
