This vintage ostrich leather wallet comes in its original red and black gift box reading "The Empire" with an Art Deco illustration of New York's Empire State Building. The tri-fold wallet measures a little over 4-1/2 by 2-3/4 inches folded.
The interior has both snap-flap and slide pockets in the center and is stamped Genuine Leather. The left side has a clear plastic window section with an identification card (partially filled in by Jay F. Koch of Northampton PA), the right side has a similar section with a plastic window containing a small paper calendar pad dated 1942. The calendar is complete with no pages missing. The wallet was very gently used and is in very good condition, as is the box.
