This is a 1950s salesman's sample book for imprinted Christmas greeting cards. The cards were made in the USA by Artistic Card Company, though the sample book doesn't state the company's name - you have to look on the back of the cards. The sample booklets were obtained by responding to an advertisement in the back of a magazine. The sales person (mostly pre-teen kids) would take the sample book door to door trying to obtain orders for boxes of the cards.
The heavy cardboard display folds out into five sections, each displaying two attractive 4 by 5 inch holiday cards. They're mounted so you can open each one to see the greeting and inside illustrations. The cards and the book are in excellent condition with no tears or writing. The book would make a terrific seasonal mantle display.
