This dated 1972 lighted musical ceramic tabletop Christmas tree has 40 red plastic "lights" and plays Beethoven's Ode to Joy. It stands 13-1/2 inches high to the top of the green plastic tree top star. The tree is pine green with textured snow frost paint at the tips. The base is a little lighter, more of an olive green, and takes a candelabra type bulb (included). The socket has an on/off switch, though the 5-1/2 inch cord has a more convenient thumb wheel switch.
The tree and base are in excellent condition with no chips, flakes, or damage. The base is covered in green felt to protect your table surface. The light works fine (tree is shown lighted in last photo though the room wasn't very dark) and the cord has no issues. The plug is the old fashioned non-polarized type. The vintage Minxie-Tone Swiss music box plays just fine, though a little fast for the first few seconds. The brass key is present at the side of the base. All those white spots in my photos are just reflections to the ceramic glaze. Will ship double boxed. A wonderfully nostalgic vintage ceramic tree with no issues.
