I bought a round hanging copper pot rack just like this in 1987. It measures 14-3/4 inches diameter not including the width of the six heavy copper plated brass hooks. The triple hanging chains are 17" long, not including the connecting hook. The rack has a 1-1/2 inch lip, forming a shelf at the top so you can display something larger at the top - I've had copper egg boilers, stock pots, and even a large punch bowl on mine at various times. The original gold foil importer's label has been removed but you can see where it was. Like my own, it would have read Made in Turkey.
The pot rack is made of thick, sturdy copper, the brass hooks and chain fittings are riveted on and also very strong, The inner shelf was never lacquered and has a patina - the outside is shinier but could be even brighter with a good polish. The bottom is a bit domed. There are several tiny pinpoint dings at the bottom which are virtually unnoticeable when the rack is hanging, especially when full - I'm fairly certain they're from manufacture as mine has them too. You can get an awful lot of copper hanging from this rack by staggering items of different sizes and heights on the same hooks and hanging copper utensils or anything with a hooked handle from the rim lip.
