This box of antique Christmas ornaments from 1930s and earlier Germany contains smaller and feather tree size shapes ranging from about 1-1/4 to 2-1/4 inches high. Most are organic fruit, nut, and flower shapes, including an unsilvered pink strawberry. The other ornaments include a green bumpy starfish, a cottage or house with pine trees, silver textured oval drop with embossed poinsettia flower centers, and a flattened round woven pattern disc with ringed stippled or beaded centers.
The unsilvered strawberry is missing paint at the back leaves and has a chipped pike mostly covered by a non-original metal cap. The tiny pink and blue flower bud also has a replacement cap. Some have wear or flaking the paint or loss of inner silvering. All hang properly with no breaks or cracks. The box is worn with taped corners, the lid is in poor condition with discoloration and flap splits.
