This pretty 1960s Japan Christmas angel can stand by herself or be used as a tree top decoration. She's a little over 6 inches high and was made to resemble the popular Koestel angels. Instead of wax face and hands however, the angel's head and hands are molded doll-type plastic. She plays a gold plastic lute or violin and wears a gold brocade gown with metallic gold lace trim and halo. Her wings are embossed Dresden scrap foiled gold paper. There's some very slight fraying of the gold fabric at the back bottom of the sleeves. Otherwise the angel is in excellent condition.
