This late 1960s plastic Applique Loom by Boye Needle Company is mint in its sealed package. The loom was used to make those retro daisy flower afghans. Using the loom, you make as many flowers as you need out of yarn, then chain crochet the petal loops together to form the afghan . The flowers can be made of straw flower for stiffer blossoms, or attached to stitchery projects like pillows and wall hangings.
The loom is the largest size, 5-1/4 inches diameter, making 3 layers of petals to your flowers. Smaller flowers can be made by simply skipping the outer pegs. The package includes a long tapestry needle and has never been opened.
