A pair of silvered glass clown shape Christmas ornaments from Germany. Both have similar red and green tinted suits with their hands in their pockets and flesh painted faces. One is over 4 inches high, the other is miniature at less than 2-1/2 inches. Both have some typical flaking to the face paint. The larger clown a also has some finish wear to his suit. A replacement metal cap covers a jagged pike opening. Age is hard to determine, they may have been made in the late 1930s, or in post-war West Germany in the late 1940s to early 1950s.
