This type of big-eyed, fancy coiffed boudoir doll was very popular with teenage and pre-teen girls in the 1970s. This twin ethnic girl doll set has no tags but those painted multi-colored large eyes are unmistakable - they were made by Bradley.
The dolls are a little over 12 inches high to the tops of the colorful fans and are mounted on a black painted wood base or stand. They represent traditional Korean fan dancers, each with two large feather-trimmed fans, one in each articulated hand. They are in excellent vintage condition with no damage, tears, or wear, and they are not dusty like many dolls of this age and type.
