A pair of vintage hammered copper pieces, both decorative and functional. The mug is more than twice the usual size of say, a Moscow Mule mug, at 4-3/4 inches high with a 28 ounce capacity to the rim. The matching pitcher, just a bit taller than the mug, also holds 28 ounces or 3-1/2 cups. Both are from the 1980s to early 1990s, made in either Turkey or India. They are unlined, and there is conflicting information about the safety of drinking from unlined solid copper, especially with anything acidic like tomato or citrus juice.
