This cuddly 1955 Knickerbocker baby faced stuffed plush faux fur Santa Claus Christmas toy is about 10 inches long with legs extended. Baby Santa is the scarce African American version with dark skin, but the same blue eyes and molded yellow hair as the Caucasian version. He wears an attached Santa cap with jingle bell and a faded green fleece scarf wrapped around his neck.

The doll is not tightly stuffed, resulting in a slightly floppy head. It's an easy fix - just open up the back seam a bit, add some fiberfill, and re-stitch closed. There is some very minor age yellowing to the white fur but no tears, holes, or stains and his face, hat, and scarf are in good condition. A cloth tag at his side reads "Knickerbocker Toy Co. Inc. New York USA, Baby Santa 1955".
