This unusual vintage copper cordial, aperitif, or liqueur beverage set has a pierced and chased flower and leaf decoration reminiscent of Western style leather tooling. There are six copper jacketed small glasses on an oval solid copper tray with reticulated openwork rim.
The glasses are thick and flared at the rim, almost shot glass size. Overall height from base to rim is 3-1/2 inches, diameter across the rims is 1-1/2 inches. The glasses are 2 inches deep and hold one ounce. The tray measures 10-1/2 by 7-1/2 inches.
One glass has a tight hairline at the rim with a nearby rim fleabite (see last photo). The others have no issues. The tray could use some cleaning and has a few shallow dimples due to the softness of the copper, nothing that prevents it or the glasses from sitting flat. The set has a somewhat Southwestern look but there are no maker's marks - probably made in Mexico for the tourist trade.
