This small 3-3/4" high ceramic Occupied Japan vase was typically sold in dimestores between 1945 and 1952 as an inexpensive knickknack. Painted in garish colors of blue, orange and brown with moriage outlining, it depicts a female immortal deity. There is old masking tape adhesive on the underside and a 1/4" brown paint skip on the far left edge of the blue sash.
