This framed needlepoint picture is very vintage, with an old fashioned, slightly shabby appeal. It measures 16-1/2" high by 22-1/2 inches wide, with a flower embossed 1-1/2 inch wood frame painted cream color frame.

The hand stitched needlepoint features a spray of pale gold and red-pink roses, with little blue and white flowers and green leaves. The background is done in grayish moss green. It was likely glued to the backing board, as the wool is a bit starchy or stiff, but it doesn't affect the appearance. The frame is a bit chippy, nothing serious as you can see. A twisted piano wire hanger runs the width of the back.
